This is one way of representing sounds. I'm not going into this today; I'm going to discuss written transcriptions of the English speech sounds.

Ha az angol nyelvben található hangokról szeretnénk beszélni, az ábécé sajnos cserben hagy. Ezért többrészes cikksorozatban azzal fogok foglalkozni, milyen alternatívák segíthetnek a problémák elkerülésében. If we are to talk about the sounds of the English language, the alphabet unfortunately lets us down. This is why I'm going to discuss in a series of articles what alternatives there are to rectify the problem. First, I am going to discuss two approaches to transcribing a language.

I'd like to still write about the alphabet this week as well: it might seem like I exhausted the alphabet last week, however, I'd like to examine an alphabet teaching method. This method is the "Alphabet Song".

Ezen a héten az angol ábécével, és főleg annak hiányosságaival fogok foglalkozni. Ezek közül hármat fogok kiemelni, amiből kettő valószínűleg mindig is probléma volt, egy pedig az idők folyamán vált azzá.

This week I'm going to discuss the English alphabet and its shortcomings in particular. I'm going to highlight three of them, of which two has most probably always been a problem, and one that has only become a problem with time.
